Co-Working at STEMspot

Our one-of-a-kind STEMtots Co-Work Club

Say hello to STEMTots Co-Work Club—the perfect mash-up of productivity and play! Forget sitting around in your car or a boring waiting area while your child’s in class—now you can power through your to-do list in our comfy co-working space, all while sipping your favorite café drink.

Available Tuesday-Thursday from 3pm-5pm, STEMtots Co-Work Club is a one-of-a-kind program where your child (ages 3-5) will engage in science experiments, engineering challenges, and activities that develop math, language, and problem-solving skills. Our teachers will focus on sparking their curiosity and love for how things work in the world around them and giving them many opportunities to socialize and collaborate with peers.

Meanwhile, you will get to enjoy focused work time at your own co-working desk, knowing you're right there if your little one needs a quick hug or bathroom break. It’s the perfect way for your child to grow their independence in a more informal and flexible learning environment than a structured school experience.

STEMTots Club is more than just a co-working arrangement—it's an innovative approach to balancing parenthood and work, giving both you and your child a space to thrive. Check out our co-working FAQ’s for more details!

For parents who prefer a more flexible approach, we’ve got you covered with our “as-needed” co-working option! No need to reserve a desk—just bring your laptop and settle into a seat at our custom-designed café bar, where you’ll have a front-row view of the play area while you work.

This option is perfect if your kids are comfortable playing on their own, but would feel better knowing they can still see you the whole time. They’ll stay busy exploring our play area, and our staff will be nearby to spark their curiosity and guide them to fun activities.

You can choose to work at our café bar during any scheduled open play sessions. If you plan to visit two or more times a week, it is best to consider a membership, as it provides the most affordable way to work and play.

Co-Working FAQs

  • Unfortunately, no. At this time, our co-working space is designed to accommodate caregivers who need a place to work while having their kiddos in tow.

  • Our staff will work hard to meet the needs of all children in the class, however, since this is a program that helps children ease into the concept of drop-off preschool or daycare, we will involve the on-site caregiver or parent if needed.  If your child is not potty-trained or still needs full assistance in the bathroom, we will text or call you to assist as needed.

  • It's up to you. We recommend bringing earbuds or headphones to manage noise and take meetings. However, we cannot guarantee you won't be interrupted, so we don’t suggest scheduling presentations or high-stakes meetings in the space.

  • No, membership is not required to buy a co-working pass. However, members receive a 15% discount on our 5-packs

  • Yes! You’re welcome to enjoy our barista-crafted beverages, café snacks, or any food items you bring from home in the co-working area. Please remember to clean up after yourself using our disinfectant wipes and wash your hands before returning to the play area to ensure the safety of children with food allergies.

  • While attendance isn’t required daily or in sequence, we recommend using your pack of passes consistently to help your child build routine, familiarity with their instructor, and confidence in the class environment.

Our STEMTots class is a 2-hour session designed to engage and inspire young minds. The schedule includes:

    • Circle Time: We start with a welcoming circle to set the tone for the class.

    • Engineering Design Challenge or Science Exploration: Children dive into a hands-on activity that sparks their curiosity and creativity.

    • Movement/Music Break: A fun break to get moving and groove to some music.

    • Revisiting the Challenge/Exploration: We revisit our earlier activity to share results and insights.

    • Physical Movement Activity: More physical activity to keep energy levels high.

    • Craft Time: A creative craft session to cap off the learning experience.

    • Open Play: Free playtime until pick-up.

  • There is no designated snack time during the two-hour STEMTots class. We suggest having your child eat a snack around 2:45 pm before the class begins. They will be ready for dinner by the end of the session. Children are welcome to bring their water bottles if they get thirsty during class. If you forget, we are happy to provide water cups with lids during class.
